The holidays are here!  This month, we bring you more volunteer opportunities that will let you give back to our community.  Thank goodness, it’s November!

Featured Opportunities

Hands Across I Street!

Let’s go out and hold hands! Join Mayor Steinberg, Supervisor Kennedy and hundreds of your neighbors to form a human chain from City Hall to the County Building to support a unified plan to end hunger & homelessness in our community. More than 250,000 of our neighbors go hungry every day while nearly 4,000 of our neighbors are homeless – 2,000 of which call the streets, alleys and parks “home”. Let’s stand together to say we can and will end & prevent hunger & homelessness! Please note that this event will happen rain or shine. We look forward to seeing you there!

It is a small walk, and they are expecting around 150 participants.
